Meet the Team

Gabriela Gast

President & Co-Founder

Gabriela’s move to San Antonio’s South Side reflects both her belief in the area’s potential and her commitment to community-driven change. In 2021, she and her family relocated after her husband accepted a role in manufacturing. They were immediately struck by the warmth and hospitality of their neighbors, even as the surrounding aging infrastructure and vacant corridors told a different story.

Motivated to contribute to a community that had so openly welcomed her family, Gabriela embraced the opportunity to help revitalize a local commercial corridor through a grant program. In 2022, she joined the Revitalize SA Corridor Leadership Program, where she began laying the groundwork for what is now the River Artes District. Drawing on her background in marketing and experience within startup companies, Gabriela has played a key role in helping the River Artes District make meaningful, early progress while maximizing limited resources.
